Co-founders Kalib Riddle and Roan Kovach were college roommates at The Ohio State University who shared an upbringing in rural communities and passion for sustainability. While exchanging stories about their aspirations, they realized that they could co-create the future they wanted to live in. By combining Kalib’s background in agriculture with Roan's experience in medical sensors, they brainstormed a solution to modernize agriculture: live soil-sensing technology that reduces waste using software and AI integrations.
